      Full grain veg tan leather is used for all the products in this range.

      The Atelier Range is 100%  hand crafted in studio, using only ethically and locally sourced full grain veg tan leathers.

      Full grain, because you get all the markings and characteristics of leather that has not been modified to look 'cleaner', literally the whole hide of the animal as it is. Without the hair of course.

      Vegetable tanned leather (or veg tan leather) refers to the tannage, or method of tanning the cowhide into leather. It's called 'vegetable' because of the natural tannins used in the tanning process like tree bark. Vegetable tanning or veg tan as it's sometimes called, is one of the oldest methods of tanning known to man.

      Due to the fact that the leather is hand dyed in studio, as well as the difference in texture and tan effects on the hides, colouration and hue may differ.

      Different screen resolutions and capabilities will also affect the colour from the pictures online, and the product that you receive.
